Yeah yeah, I know… Black Friday = evil first-world consumerism. But that doesn’t mean you can’t support amazing local companies or companies with awesome products who are doing nice things for the world, such as supporting local artisans in Costa Rica or using recycled materials and offsetting their energy consumption with renewable energy credits.
Since I like to vote with my dollar and support amazing companies, and because I want other people to save money at a financially stressful time of the year, I’m going to pass some of the deals and discount codes I received via email subscription this morning and other social channels along to you! Happy shopping 🙂
Although my favourite local beauty bar — which sells all natural and cruelty-free make-up and beauty products — won’t be having a Black Friday sale, they will be having an online Cyber Monday sale. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to get the inside scoop!

Support local artisans in Costa Rica with every purchase of these gorgeous yoga bracelets. I have one and wear it everyday with everything — they’re so simple and elegant, and look neat when worn as a “stack”. Everything on their website is 50% off today — no code necessary!
My favourite funky yoga leggings — which are made of recycled plastic water bottles — are 25% off today on their website!
Okay, so maybe this one is just a pure luxury item… but look how pretty! The perfect gift for that yoga-loving lady in your life.
And today you can get 50% off these select styles.
In need of some vegan protein powder? Everything at Vega is 25% off today!
My favourite podcaster, ultrarunner and plant-powered advocate Rich Roll is offering two of his MindBodyGreen courses — The Ultimate Guide To Plant-Based Nutrition and The Art of Living With Purpose — for 30% off from now until December 3.
